That was a beautiful ending to the zanpaktou arc, but I wonder why I still see Rukia's Zanpaktou out in the next episode. I like how Ichigo is always the last one to find out that a filler arc will take place. I checked on wikipedia, and it looks like we have more fillers before Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra. Ahhh.

Nice teamwork from Rukia and Sode no Shirayuki. Sequel to zanpaktou arc doesn't seem as exciting so far, but it may make me cry eventually at least from Rukia's and Sode no Shirayuki's relationship. Glad to get a few episodes to see how the zanpaktous are like when they are not brainwashed.

Wow, it's been ages since I've been here. I've continued to watch Bleach every week, but haven't really found much to write about. Ever since the Muramasa arc ended it's been each Zanpakuto fighting the Toju of the week, and it's getting a bit old for my liking. Ever since PRGirl left I haven't felt like reviewing Bleach as much, but maybe once the Amagai arc starts in the dub or the Toju arc ends and we return to the Hueco Mundo arc, then I'll be more inclined to write again.

I know what you mean, ranru. Heck, I don't even think my reviews are technically reviews anymore. They're more like random comments on the episode off the top of my head. As for this episode, it was actually hilarious and brought nostalgia from the pendulum arc when Byakuya was little and could actually get frustrated pretty easily.

Since Nanao's zanpaktou is never seen, we watch her hang out with one of her captain's zanpaktous instead. Last episode, Mayuri's zanpaktou is the silent one. This time, it's Nanao's partner in hunting down Sword Fiends, and according to the rumors, next episode should be the end of the Sword Fiend arc, and after that Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra really begins. Maybe that's why Ichigo has a lot less screentime this arc since he'll make up for it when we see Espadas again.

Bleach 265

Not really a sad ending to the arc but fair enough since the end of the episode was funny. Yay, Nel speaks again. I wonder whatever happened to that little girl, but regardless, Ichigo's going to be the main character again. Now go get Ulquiorra, Itsygo!

The Captain-Commander made the recap worthwhile. At the end, it was nice to see exactly what happened before the fillers again so that I'm completely hyped for the real Ulquiorra vs. Ichigo next week or whatever Renji, Chad, and Rukia may be fighting.

Despite what some youtube comments said, I think this is a pretty good episode. Ichigo is able to keep up with Ulquiorra's "low-level abilities," and we get to see Renji and Chad team up for once against a bunch of Hollows and that big sand Hollow/Arrancar. I find it extremely hilarious that Ishida and Chad both think Renji resembles Ichigo, which I find to be very true, and what's more hilarious is that Ichigo and Renji both get about equal screen time on this episode in two differents just to demonstrate that resemblance. It's good to see Orihime finally help Ichigo fight back against Ulquiorra besides that one slap she gave him a long time back when she was still trapped in her room in Hueco Mundo.

Bleach 268

This episode brings back tons of old memories with Loli and Menoly and Yammy and Ishida all coming back so much that I can't wait for the next episode to see how Ishida fares against Yammy.
